I've had a fair amount of 'tissy in my day, but admittedly never of the Filipino variety. It really wasn't all that much different, honestly, besides the sides that came with it. The chicken was good but the pork belly lechon was even better. Super crispy skin covering tender meat with the perfect amount of fat. incredibly juicy. It wasn't a whole ton of food for the 5 of us, next time I would probably get a half chicken and a whole lechon instead of another half. Pakwan salad was good, very simple with watermelon, oil, and basil. Could probably recreate this dish for $3 total but that is okay. Perfect for summer. The corn and shishitos I could nOT create. Little corn nubbins reminded me of Wingstop lol but they were delicious with the peppers and crispy garlic bits. The summer pancit CANTON was great too, a very interesting dish I have not had before. chock full of veggies with small tender noodles. Was very happy with my meal.

We enjoyed our meal and visit to this lovely place. The hostess and wait staff were great and accommodating to our requests. Thanks to Kei and Kash for taking care of our table! The acoustics inside the restaurant were fantastic - you really couldn't hear the conversation from the other tables. Now on to the food. We decided on the pamilya style menu. $50pp plus any add ons. We added the pakwan salad and dessert. We also ordered several bottle of wines. Their wine selection is also very good. My favorites of the meal: Sinigang shrimp chips. We ordered seconds! Pakwan salad. It reminded me of my childhood and my lola. So refreshing! Lechon. The seasoning was just right. That "crisp" was music to our ears. That "crunch" made me a happy gal. Spicy salsita. They offered five sauces. This was my favorite followed by the garlic mojo. Tito Rudy's Strawberries and cream halo halo. Strawberries and cream tend to be my go to dessert if it's on the menu. Strawberries and cream halo halo? Sign me up! When it comes to Filipino iced desserts, I prefer Maiz con hielo. This is now a close second! Icebox cake. I forget the ingredients other than graham crackers. Order this if you see this as an option! It was a comforting dessert. This was a great meal. The service was superb and the food was delicious. Head to Resy and book your reservation! Enjoy!

Outdoor patio seating in the summer is a vibe! Every dish is amazing - pork belly lechon with garlic sauce and pancit kang kong are my two favorites. Calamansi juice cuts through the garlic and grease - def worth pairing with. Service is always spectacular and the vibes are 10/10

I've visited Lasita a few times now and what I love the most about this restaurant is how consistent they are with their welcoming service and feel-good food. I can't help but to order all of the sauces because they're all tasty and addictive. The menu staples like the lechon and mushroom sisig are solid, and the chicken inasal, as a reluctant chicken eater because I'd rather eat other proteins, is seasoned and cooked so well I had to say sorry to the chicken for ignoring it on the menu at first. Their seasonal offerings are dishes with flavors that feel familiar but are refreshingly new. I like being able to try different wine styles here too, and the non-alc pandan coconut drink on their current menu is perfectly balanced. y'all better go get that strawberries and cream halo halo before it switches out!!!
